Parks:

A very popular place for local families to visit is Te Atatū South Park, a lovely greenspace with open grassed areas, sports fields and walkways, only a short trip from Edmonton Rise.

Coastal walkway:

The Te Atatū Peninsula Coastal Walkway is a 4km boardwalk and path along the Waitematā Harbour, starting at Harbourview-Orangihina Park, with harbour views and native birdlife in the mangroves and tidal flats along the way.

Beaches:

Whether you prefer the black sand of Auckland’s West Coast surf beaches, or the white sand of the beaches bordering the Waitematā Harbour to the East, there is something for everyone within a short drive.
